Support the Nutrition and Meal Program at Rugando Parents Primary School
A Meal Today, A Brighter Future Tomorrow
In the quiet hills of southwestern Uganda lies Rugando Parents Primary School, home to over 600 children, many of whom come from vulnerable and low-income families. For most of them, the school day begins on an empty stomach β a reality that hinders learning, participation, and overall health.
At Bwindi Raha Foundation, we believe that no child should have to learn while hungry. Thatβs why weβre launching a sustainable school meal and nutrition program designed to provide every pupil with the nourishment they need to succeed in and out of the classroom.
Why This Matters
Hunger remains one of the greatest barriers to education in rural communities. By simply providing a healthy daily meal, we can drastically improve:
-
Classroom concentration and performance
-
School attendance and retention
-
Overall well-being and energy levels
Additionally, our Nutrition Awareness Program will empower children and families with knowledge about healthy eating and hygiene practices, skills that can transform communities.
